An authentic stone building dating back to 1864 of unique beauty and
character which has been lovingly restored.
The original building was an olive oil, wine and cheese producing site.
Many of its original features have been preserved, such as what appears to
be the widest stone arch in Sifnos, as well as the grinding stones and
wooden axel. It is surrounded by stone walls (90cm thick) that provide
insulation and privacy.
Today it has been converted to two adjacent but independent quarters of a
total 115 sq.m. furnished with antique furniture and hand-woven
tapestries.
The main house with a twin bedroom, en suite bathroom, fully equipped
kitchen and dining area with long wooden table that sits 10 people,
sitting area and living room with a larger than single sofa-bed. The main
house sleeps 3 comfortably.
The guest house has a double bedroom, a single bedroom and toilet & shower.
The backyard is quite and secluded covered by a vinetree and
bougainvilleas.
The property is situated in Apollonia, conveniently within walking
distance from shops and restaurants but distanced enough from the sounds
of night life. As is the norm with the villages of Apollonia, Artemonas,
etc., you approach the property on foot (approx. 150 metres from the road).
