The prices of second homes in Sweden vary greatly. Around cities, prices are much higher than in the countryside. But there are also rural regions where a seasonal home can be pretty expensive, for example, in the southern region Skåne. The area around the coastal villages of Falsterbo and Skanor is also known as the Swedish Riviera. A beautiful traditional wooden holiday in this area will cost you around 200,000 euros.

In the sparsely populated north of Sweden, the real bargains can be found. For 20000 euro, you can have a three-bedroom house on a lake. The nearest neighbors are just a few kilometers away. During the winter, you are completely cut off from the outside world. That’s only for the real diehards. But fortunately in the south of Sweden you will also find reasonably priced holiday homes.
