The number of rural dwellings in Italy is stable. You won't find a lot of new buildings there, and existing houses are protected. These houses may be converted. That's also why you often have to pay so much for a renovation object. In rural areas, the condition of a property is usually not essential for the house price.

He is also the liaison for the building companies, government, and municipalities. The geometra coordinates the renovation works, maintains contacts with the construction businesses and craftsmen, arranges papers, permits, and requests for electricity and water. The cost of a geometra usually amounts to around 14-16% of the building costs.

In the house, you can go ahead, but outside the house, you can change nothing. Expansion of the house is not possible. You may also not place any new buildings. You can adjust the interior of the house to your taste. It is also allowed to enlarge windows or to add new windows. And a swimming pool is often also possible.
